Australian Association of Social Workers

The national association for Australian professional social workers. 

Australian Institute of Family Studies
Australian Government statutory agency in the portfolio of the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs. Its role is to conduct research and communicate findings that affect family wellbeing to policy makers, service providers and the broader community.

Australian Institute of Health and Welfare
The AIHW is a statutory body responsible for providing information and statistics on Australia’s health and welfare. Statistics and data developed by the AIHW are used extensively to inform discussion and policy decisions on health and community services.

Australian Policy Online

APO is a research database and alert service providing free access to full-text research reports and papers, statistics and other resources related to public policy development and implementation, primarily in  Australia and  New Zealand.

Social Care Online
UK database of information on social work and social care. Includes UK legislation, government documents, practice and guidance, systematic reviews, research briefings and journal articles.

Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet
The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet is an Internet resource provided by Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Its aim is to inform practice and policy in Indigenous health by making research and other knowledge readily accessible.
