Children's Services Act 1996 (Vic)The main purpose of this Act is to regulate children's services, in a manner that is consistent, where appropriate, with the regulation of education and care services under the Education and Care Services National Law (Victoria), by—
(a)establishing a scheme that provides for—
(i)the approval of persons who provide the services; and
(ii)the operation of the services; and
(b)providing for the monitoring and enforcement of the scheme; and
(c)providing for other related matters.
