SACStat is a database of sentencing statistics for offences sentenced in Victoria’s adult criminal courts. The database includes statistics for over 200 offences sentenced in the higher courts (the County Court and the Supreme Court) of Victoria between 1 July 2013 and 30 June 2018 and over 500 offences sentenced in the Magistrates' Court of Victoria between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2019.
The Crime Statistics Agency (CSA) is responsible for processing, analysing and publishing Victorian crime statistics, independent of Victoria Police. The CSA aims to provide an efficient and transparent information service to assist and inform policy makers, researchers and the Victorian public.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) collects data on crime and the operation of criminal justice systems in order to make policy-relevant information and analysis available in a timely manner to the international community.
Periodic reports on selected crime issues provide in-depth analysis on key topics of concern at the global and regional level.
