Printing and copying from ebooks

VU Library e-books have been purchased from a number of different providers so there are variations between databases regarding the printing and copying allowances.

How to print/copy from EBook Central

  • Access the book through the Find Library Resources box on the Library website or Proquest Ebook Central database.
  • Click on read online. NOTE You can only print or copy a limited number of pages from a book, information regarding the page allowance is displayed.

  • When reading online click on the print or copy icon located at the top menu bar and follow the prompts.

How to print/copy from EBSCO eBooks

  • Access the book through the Find Library Resources on the Library website or EBSCO eBooks database. Click on one of the Access Options to open the book.
  • Click on Print icon. NOTE You can only print or copy a limited number of pages from a book, information regarding the page allowance is displayed.

Printing from other ebook providers

The following e-book providers allow you to print pdf chapters of a book and in some cases the whole book without installing any specialised software.
