DIGITAL VS SCANNED IMAGES
Treat images from scanned texts AND digital sources the same way The Statutory Licence covers both digital and hard copy image use for teaching. Both digital and hard copy images need to be acknowledged - even when using open access or Creative Commons resources. If adapting or changing an image which is not Open Access or Creative Commons you will need permission from the owner or creator. If the image is licensed as CC-BY-ND or does not allow derivatives you are required to seek permission. |
