This policy outlines the process for arranging a Welcome to Country at school or acknowledging the Traditional Owners of the land, and the types of occasions when schools may consider these events and acknowledgements.

This Guide assists educators to critically self-reflect on their positionality and supports them to work from a foundation of integrity. It allows teachers to ensure curriculum resources selected for teaching do not cause harm to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, but rather foster trust and build a sense of pride for all.
