Oxford Referencing: Multi-media materials

Basic format to reference multi-media materials

Format for footnotes from a podcast:

1 'Title of Episode', Title of Program: Subtitle in Italics [format], Title of Primary Contributor A. Director,  Place of Recording, Publisher, Year of Recording, http://url, (accessed day month year).

Example:

'The Hipster Philosopher', The Philosopher's Zone [podcast], interview with Mark Kingwell, ABC Radio National,  5 Jan 2014, www.abc.net.au/radionational, (accessed 9 June 2014).

  • If there is no episode title use the program title instead.
  • Format details should be included in square brackets after the title.
  • Add the url and date accessed for online multi-media.
