Research Ambassadors
The Research Ambassadors at Victoria University provide research support to both staff and research students in a range of areas including EndNote. The Research Ambassadors can also provide EndNote support via Facebook. Check the VU Research Community page:
The Library runs a number of EndNote workshops both online and in the Library, which are advertised through the Researcher Development Program. Register for a session using your MyVU portal login. The EndNote: Essentials course is held at a general level and no previous knowledge of the system is required, but basic computer skills and some experience in database searching is recommended. The following are some online computer literacy short courses, which will assist in your preparation:
This course is aimed at the complete computer novice presented in an easy-to-understand language. It also looks at how to open, create, save, and otherwise manage your files, applications and projects.
Computer Literacy for Windows 7
This course offers a thorough introduction to computers, networks, and computer peripherals, and basic procedures with software applications, the Internet and email. It also covers organising, storing, opening and saving your files and applications.
Computer Literacy for Windows 10
This course focuses on the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system and offers a thorough introduction to computers, files and folders, networks, and peripherals like printers and keyboards.
