Victoria University Archives: Student results

Graduations and results

The archives holds many items relating to graduations and student results, including graduation programmes, registers of certificates issued and in some cases, student results cards. While the archives can provide access to this material, we cannot formally confirm or reissue results. In some cases, access to records will be limited due to privacy considerations.

If you wish to get a copy of your academic transcript, or get your testamur or certificate reissued, you need to complete the relevant form and submit it to the VU Assessments and Graduations Office. They will then contact the archives on your behalf if required. All relevant forms are located on the Commonly Used Forms page.

If you undertook an apprenticeship and completed your coursework at VU or one of its predecessors, you can also contact the Victorian Government Apprenticeship Administration Line on 1300 722 603 or apprenticeships.adm@edumail.vic.gov.au. They keep a central record of all apprenticeships completed in Victoria and can reissue apprentice certificates or trade papers.

Examples of course certificates:
Footscray Technical School Mechanical Engineering 1950;
FIT / VUT Bachelor of Education 1991
