EBSCOhost Research Databases - Journal articles

• Access the article through any of the EBSCOhost databases (e.g. Academic Search Elite, Business Source Complete, CINAHL, Education Research Complete, PsycINFO, SPORTDiscus). NOTE: Do not link to the article in the Library Search, go to the specific EBSCOhost database.
• Click on the article title.
• Copy the Browser URL.

• Open the VU OpenAthens link generator (https://go.openathens.net/generate/vu.edu.au/71775300), ensure that Victoria University is selected (Find your organisation), paste in the URL (Enter more links space) and click 'Copy'. (Note that the URL disappears and the OpenAthens link is automatically generated).
• Paste this permalink into your Readings Module in VU Collaborate

EBSCO ebooks & Chapters

Access the e-book through the EBSCOhost ebook Collection database. 

NOTE: Do not link to the book in the Library Search.

• Search for the book title on eBook collection (EBSCOhost platform)

• Choose PDF Full Text from the Access Option drop down to get the book

• Click on the Chapter details from the Table of Contents

• Copy the browser URL - for the book title and chapter

• Open the VU OpenAthens link generator (https://go.openathens.net/generate/vu.edu.au/71775300), ensure that Victoria University is selected (1), paste in the URL (2) and click 'Copy' (3). (Note that the URL disappears and the OpenAthens link is automatically generated).
• Paste this permalink into your Readings Module in VU Collaborate
